Description:

Elastomeric bearing pads is made from multiple modified natural orneoprene rubber layers and steel plates through pressure and vulcanization.

The vulcanization (treatment at high temperature and under pressure) givesthe elastomer its mechanical characteristics and ensures the perfect bonding ofsteel and rubber. Full protection of the steel reinforcement from corrosion isassured.

Features：

• It provide sufficient vertical stiffness to bearthe vertical load, and transfer the load of upper structure to the pier andabutment.

• It also provide shear deformation to meet thehorizontal movement of upper structure.

• It has good flexibility to fit the rotation ofbeam end.

• Types classed by shape: round bearing,rectangular bearing

• Types classed by structure: common bearing, PTFEbearing

Design and fabrication standard:

• Steel-reinforced elastomeric bearing series arebased on JT/T4-2019, issued by Ministry of Transport of China.

• In reference with EN1337-3

• In reference with AASHTO, part 14

• In reference with BS 5400, Part 9, ”Bridge Bearing”
